I thank God for Major Thomas and all of the other faculty and staff of Capernwray. God used the Capernwray experience to set the course of my life.

 

About 10 years ago, I heard that Major Thomas was in Baton Rouge preaching. I arranged to take he and his assistant to lunch. As we were driving, he braced himself when I nearly ran into another car. I noticed it and said, "Don't worry, I've never had an accident". Without missing a beat, he said, "Everyone else in this town must be good drivers". I still chuckle about that when I think of him.
