We met Major Thomas over 25 years ago. I have to say that hardly a day does not go by I do not have the idea of Christ working in me and through me comes to mind. It seems to be forefront in my Christian walk. I remember a couple of years ago we visited him at his home in Estes Park. I remember him sharing his testimony and finishing saying that the Chrisian life is a fun and exciting life. It is something I tend to forget and I hope that I can be able to say that when I am 90. We have been so blessed to have known him - it has mightily impacted our family and has challenged me to live an adventurous Christian life. I really do feel that I would of had a different view of the Christian life without the teach and influence of this ministry of Major Thomas and the Torchbearers.
