We first had the privilege of getting to know 'Major' as teens while romping around Capernwray!- but he soon took on a father role in each of our lives teaching and guiding us into a closer walk with our risen Lord. What a joy it was to welcome him regularly into our home when we moved to Klostermühle....once he was even granted a very quick kiss from toddler' Tina...lucky man!... But my warmest and dearest memory of this great man was the day he left his ever busy schedule to come and sit beside me,a huge tower of strength and comfort,to share my sorrow and his love in the Lord when Bernhard hovered between life and death. If I could but offer a fraction of comfort to his family at this time,it would be to say "thank-you" for sharing your husband/father with us children in the second row.
Our deepest love to each of you...
Anne and Bernhard
