I still remember my first meeting with the "Major" (~1979) at Chrishona Bible College in Basel. Major had a flat tyre on his car. While we were planning to drive back from Switzerland Ueli Zuerrer asked us (a friend and myself) to visit Chrishona and to bring a new tyre to Major Thomas. He sat between some young North American fellows having breakfast with the student body.

 

When he asked us for our addresses I could not imagine how God would change my shy and ordinary life a few years later. I'm so grateful for God's visible presence in so many people who were and are with us on the way. Feeling with the family the loss I wait in anticipation that we will see each other again in His time. I hope it will be this side of eternity. Meanwhile may God reach many people through His life in all of us.
