I first became acquainted with Maj Thomas's work - or rather Christ's work through him - in 1991 or so. I had burned out from trying to live the life which is Christ's and one day I tuned into a radio program, People to People with Bob George. One day Maj Thomas appeared for an interview and I knew at once I must hear more. I ordered a copy of "The Saving Life of Christ/The Mystery of Godliness" and it absolutely renewed my Christian experience. In 1994 on two occasions I was honored to actually participate in a series of meetings with Maj Thomas as the speaker.

During the break of one of the meetings I talked with Maj Thomas and related briefly the futility of my Christian life up to that point. I'll never forget how he told me "Never forget to remember what God remembers "Amalek/the flesh", yet to also forget what God forgets - my sins. As a minister today just about everything I teach and preach has it's origin in learning the truth of the Gospel from Maj Thomas.

Well Done! Rest now Good and Faithful Servant of Christ. Until we meet again on that day.
