I first met the Major in 1983 at Capernwray Hall summer camp when I was 15 years old. It was then that I took up my torch and followed Jesus. I met him again whilst working at Raverncrest the summer of 1988 and at a Thanksgiving conference at His Hill when I was a student. The Lord has used the ministry of Torchbearers in many ways to pull me closer to Him. The words of Major Thomas that the Lord continues to lay on my heart is that it is 'CHRIST IN YOU AND THROUGH YOU' that counts.

 

May others see the life of Christ in me as I did in the Major.
